Kelly Smith is an artist who does a bit of everything.

With a big picture focus on fostering new theatrical and performance work in Boston, this takes the form of producing, directing, writing, props crafting, and anything else that needs doing so the answer of “what kind of art do you do?” has never been quite simple. The types of projects Kelly is drawn to are ones that tell a new story and create unique lasting experiences for artists and audiences alike. But just as important is being part of a supportive, kind, and usually funny creative team.

Kelly has ushered in over 30 world premieres and worked with many theatre companies including: Company One, American Repertory Theatre, Sleeping Weazel, Fresh Ink Theatre, Second Act Productions, Hub Theatre Company, Titanic Theatre Company, Maiden Phoenix Theatre Company, ShotzBoston, theatreKapow, Brown Box Theatre Company, Story and Club Boston among others.
